Royal Leamington Spa Bach Choir launches a Concert Staging Appeal

The Choir has been given the opportunity to buy the staging which we use for concerts at All Saints’ Church, Leamington Spa – at a cost in the region of £3000.

We currently spend £250 every concert on hiring this from another local choir who no longer use it, and there is a risk they may sell it elsewhere – leaving us with the prospect of finding new staging, typically costing £15000 or more. As our own Choir grows it becomes ever more important for both our Choir and audience that we provide appropriate staging for our performances.

We are therefore pleased to announce the launch of the 2019 RLSBC CONCERT STAGING APPEAL – with a request for contributors (Choir members, Friends, family, local businesses, etc) to pledge and donate towards the one-off purchase of this essential concert apparatus.

This appeal is separate from our 2019/2020 concert planning activities, and donations will attract Gift Aid (where applicable). Updates on the staging project and a running total will be provided here on the website.
