Choir members are big hit at wedding

Saturday 19th February 2022

On Thursday 30th December 2021, a group of singers from the RLSBC were privileged to be asked to sing at the wedding of Lucy Antrobus and Owen Cheverton, in St Mary’s church, Warwick.

The singers’ main task was to perform O Holy Night while the bride and groom signed the register, but the happy couple were also keen to have some descants for the carols they had chosen. The singers finished on a suitably joyful note with a fun performance of Jingle Bells

The new Mr and Mrs Cheverton sent the choir a very appreciative message while en route to Heathrow for their honeymoon:

“Massive, huge thank you to you both and the full choir. It was absolutely wonderful music throughout and so many of the guests commented on how great you were. One sent a gorgeous message about it feeling like perfect Christmas magic far surpassing Richard Curtis! Can you pass our thanks on to everyone in the choir? We’re so grateful people stepped away from their own Christmases to come make our day so amazing.”

Later they added: “We both really loved getting to belt out some hymns, and listen to you. Jingle Bells to exit on was absolutely amazing! The number of compliments we've had from our guests, both directly about your brilliant singing and also indirectly about the Christmas magic atmosphere has been phenomenal.”

So if you’re looking for a group of singers to make your wedding really special, why not get in touch? Our rates are very reasonable, and if you have a particular piece of music in mind, we will do our very best to provide it!
